The Mayan predictions are far from 2012 doomsday prophecies. The Maya say we will be leaving a time of darkness to enter an era of light around 2012.
You're worried. I understand how you feel. When I first started to research the Maya sixteen years ago, I felt the same way. I worried too about 2012 doomsday prophecies such as pole shifts , earthquakes, asteroid collisions and more. But, now I'm at peace with the turmoil in the world. I finally see it's all part of a greater plan in our evolution of consciousness.
I have far more control over my future than I thought. Years of research and introspection have changed my fears to understanding. Worry and fear never changes anything for the better. In fact fear is attracted to itself. Yes, what you fear most will come to you by the law of attraction. Be mindful of your thoughts, and ask for what you want, not what you don't want.
My goal is to empower you, not make you feel hopeless.
"Despite the publicity generated by the 2012 date, Susan Milbrath, curator of Latin American Art and Archaeology at the Florida Museum of Natural History, stated that "We (the archaeological community) have no record or knowledge that (the Maya) would think the world would come to an end in 2012." So what does the future hold for us in this time leading up to December 21, 2012?

"The darkest hour is just before the dawn." We are entering the darkest hour.
The world IS experiencing great change right now and it will accelerate. Many say the mid to end of 2010 will show an increase.

Yes, we should expect change in all areas that affect our lives including within us, and...lots of it. Some of it may be hard to accept. But all the changes that will take place will be for the greater good. All that doesn't serve us personally and as a species now must go. This includes corrupt governments, unscrupulous corporations, environmentally damaging practices, toxic personal relationships, and negative thinking.

Worldwide economic, social, and other problems are in the news. Power, money (material possessions) and control are the values and traits of the present Great Cycle. If the Mayan predictions are true, all the negative side of these traits will be exposed and eliminated in preparation for the next Great Cycle in 2012. To those who fight the change it will feel like 2012 doomsday.
I ask you to accept and grow from it.
This is not the first Great Cycle the world has experienced. This cycle began on August 14, 3114 B.C. and heralded in great change as well. The Hindus, and most likely the Egyptians also tracked precession and were aware of Great Cycles.
The government doesn't have the power to stop the economic and financial upheavals. Obama can't save our way of life. Truth is there isn't a solution available on the world. The old ways don't work anymore for the coming new World Age and must go to make room for the values of the next World Age.
"Development of Trust: First, they must go through what might be called "a period of undoing." This need not be painful, but it usually is so experienced. It seems as if things are being taken away, and it is rarely understood initially that their lack of value is merely being recognized. How can lack of value be perceived unless the perceiver is in a position where he must see things in a different light? He is not yet at a point at which he can make the shift entirely internally. How fear controls us
The 2012 doomsday fears cause the hording of material things. I'm not suggesting that you shouldn't have extra food, alternative energy sources, etc. available. But, you can't prepare for 2012 just by accumulating food, money, especially guns, etc. We have relied on the physical so long we've forgotten our source of true power and safety. Fear makes us REACT instead of KNOW. Fear causes bad decisions.
Your safety lies within and always has. This time of preparation for December 21, 2012 is not about the material. It's about the spiritual. The only way to make you look within is to take away your worldly safety nets as the Course in Miracles states above. This may feel like 2012 doomsday is coming true. But it FORCES you to go within and trust your only true source of safety...your inner guidance. Forgive all you feel have wronged you...forgive yourself...love yourself and others unconditionally.
There's only one true and lasting way to prepare for December 21, 2012. Clean your mental houses to allow your pure spirit to shine through. The power of forgiveness is the most effect way to heal negativity stored within the bodies chakras. The only thing separating you from knowing your divine self are negative thoughts and actions. These traits are not of God. Your spirit and happiness is.
Many 2012 doomsday prophecies are based on the thought we should be punished for our transgressions. We have to pay for environmental excess, social maladies, over population and greed. All these 2012 doomsday prophecies are based on fear and lack! Let this go!!! Understand...it's NEVER God trying to punish us.
It's time to forgive and release, not punish or blame. During this time of cleansing, we are being asked to CLEAR our minds of the negativity that has built up over our soul's lifetimes. We are being forced to look at our lives right now. Negativity has taken its toll on our happiness, our health our values, and the heal of the earth.
God/The Universe is in charge. The divine is orchestrating this tremendous change and the ultimate goal is to move us out of pain and suffering to a higher level of consciousness. You know...there is something much better than the life you have now, no matter how good you think you have it.
We can't change this trend any more than we can stop the natural change in the seasons. We must embrace the values of the next Great Age of love brotherhood, unity and integrity. The key is to always look out for the greater good of humanity and the planet. Progress occurs when ALL gain, and no one and no thing loses. Think this is impossible...think again beyond the limitations of the earth. When you take the whole into consideration you automatically take care of yourself.
Conclusion:
At what point did we give up on our higher consciousness? When we separated from nature and God, we separated from divine inspiration. Another separation occurred when we switched to linear time from natural circular time. We tried to rely on the limited abilities of the intellect.
We can't THINK our way out of the problems in the world today. Our safety comes from TRUSTING divine inspiration from the higher power. It's time to ask for help and guidance from the divine. We'll have a multi-dimensional knowing again, which encompasses more than the physical earth plane. There will be no memory of 2012 doomsday because fear will be replaced by love. We will TRUST in the universal forces, and God's love to guide us to a happier more fulfilled human experience. We will once again be in sync with the natural forces of the Universe on circular time.
