Anyone who has experienced asthma, nearly choked on food, swallowed something the wrong way, or nearly drowned, knows what it’s like to be unable to breathe, yet in spite of this we stifle ourselves every day.
How many of us try to divine God’s Will for us, or that which we agreed to do before we took on this current incarnation?
How many of us search for the meaning and purpose of our lives, or try to understand what it is we are supposed to learn or overcome?
And the result of this stifling is pain. Pain in our bodies; our minds; in our emotional lives, and our living circumstances.
What gets in the way of our understanding? Our desires, and aspirations.
What’s wrong with either of these? What’s wrong with wanting a decent life for ourselves and our children?
There is nothing wrong with this sentiment itself. The problem lies in focusing on the future and working logically towards this or any other goal without inner direction. By focusing on the future, we miss what I call, ‘now-ness’, and it is by being focused on the pr
esent, by accepting what is going on around us now, that gives us insight and inspiration for the future. Just wishing for a better future, without understanding why it hasn’t happened yet, (and not really knowing if what we want is right for us), means we wish our life away, like those who do the lottery every week, not creating for themselves, but putting their life on hold until fate deals them a better hand.
Everyone has their own unique purpose, and in the grand scheme of things it may not seem like much, but it is unique to YOU!
So don’t let life pass you by, and add another re-birth to your list of wasted opportunities. Start to get to know yourself, and your purpose. Start to relax and breathe in the breath of life, breathe in and let go of all attachments to outcomes.
And you can start this breathing by going to my Inner Peace video clip (see below) and downloading a free copy of Soul Journey:
