I am writing this article for those who are afraid of death and dying and also for those who do not believe in the existence of the next world.
As a Spiritualist I could not be more certain of anything as I am of the next world. I have no doubts whatsoever and in fact I think I know a great deal of what to expect when I arrive there. I have entered the next world during my sleep and met new arrivals there. I have read many books on the subject and especially those teachings from Spirit Guides who are themselves in the next world! I always feel so sorry for those suffering a bereavement who think they will never again see or hear from a loved one (including family pets). I want to say to them “But they are still alive only in another dimension and you will meet them again when you also enter the next world. This is only a temporary Goodbye!” {At the moment of death everyone is met by a family member or a friend who escorts them into the next world.} If you can’t bear to wait until that happens then go to a Sunday Service at a Spiritualist Church. There you will hear communications taking place between members of the congregation and their friends and relatives who are in the next world. These communications (messages) come via the visiting medium on the platform who has the gift of being a telephone link between the two worlds. I have attended enough Spiritualist Sunday services to vouch for the joy and amazement of those receiving evidential messages proving their loved ones are still around and know all about them and their day to day lives.
Many people who do believe in life after death have the mistaken belief that your destination in the next world is one of two places — Heaven or Hell! Let me correct this once and for all. Everyone goes to the next world, all races, all creeds, members of all religions and none. The Spirit World is open to everyone including our beloved animals who are as much the creation of God as the human animal. So where exactly do we go to in the next world? Remember that our earthly world is composed of people from all sorts of backgrounds and everybody would not be happy in the same place so the decision about where you go depends on the sort of person you are and the sort of life you have led. Once there you will meet other souls at a similar stage to yourself.
When Jesus spoke of the next world He referred to it as “Many Mansions” and Spiritualists interpret this as meaning many levels. You are on a ladder or a “ Stairway to Paradise” as the old song has it. A sinner cannot be put on the same spiritual level as a saint. It is very important that you live a good, full and useful life because it will decide your place in the next world. Whichever level you go to, you will not be there “for keeps.” Life is all about “onward and upward” so you will eventually feel that you want to have another chance of life. This is where reincarnation comes in as living another life may move you up to the next level next time round. Very evil souls will languish at the bottom of the ladder but even there they are encouraged to see the evil of their ways and to advance. Saints will go to the highest level where Jesus is.
So what sort of world will you find after you arrive? It will be a world very similar to the one you have left and you will see buildings, country scenes, birds, animals. God is kind and all awake to scenes of familiarity. It will not be a world of eternal rest and you won’t have wings or spend your time singing hymns around the throne of God! After a period of rest and recovery you will take up some useful work or take advantage of new opportunities. We have all gone through training of some sort for our job in life and from the next world we can pass on our knowledge to those still on earth. You will choose how to occupy your time and life will open up for you in a wonderful way. You can fulfil unfulfilled ambitions and have a chance to do all the things you were never able to do while on the earth. There is no growing old in the next world and for elderly people death can be a release from an earthly body which has ceased to serve them and they can enjoy life over again with a new strong body and mind. For those who have suffered disability all their life they will now have a new body to enjoy activities, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the disabled will walk and all pain will be banished.
From messages received from communicants of the next world, we are told of Libraries housing the books of all the ages, Halls of Learning where you can study and learn to your hearts content. There are Concert Halls where famous musicians can entertain us and Museums in which are kept the knowledge of the ages since the world began. Some people worry that they will not meet up again with those they have loved. Remember that our God is a God of Love and that love is the greatest binding force in the universe. If two people really love one another, nothing will ever come between them and there can be no parting.

There is really nothing to fear about entering the next world and it is something to look forward to when you life in this world comes to an end.
